Richard Woolfson is a child psychologist, working with children
and their families. He is also an author and writes on child and
family development for many magazines and newspapers.
He contributes to several web pages dealing with parenting
problems and
family issues, and appears regularly on radio and television.
Richard runs training workshops for parents and early years
professionals. He has written several books on child development
and family life.
He provides psychological consultancy to commercial companies,
advising on product development, delivering training seminars,
participating in media interviews, and contributing to PR
strategies. Richard also provides services as an expert witness
in legal cases involving children and their families. He is a
Fellow of the British Psychological Society and is registered
with the Health Professions Council

Stateside with Fergie. The very successful
Helping Hand Books, written by Sarah, Duchess of
York, covers a range of experiences that
children may have to deal with as they grow up.
Each book also contains a helpful hints section
for parents, written by Richard. The books
proved very popular for parents and
professionals in the UK, and now the
"Americanised" version of the series is
available in the USA.
